My current system is a standard case. In each of 2 optical bays, I have a KingWin HDD rack. 1 HDD is in a tray. The other HDD is in a standard internal bay. RAID 1 is used.

I use Acronis True Image to clone my data to a 3rd HDD, which is stored off site.

I want to build a desktop PC in which I will use RAID 1.

Also, I want to clone my data to a 3rd HDD, using Acronis True Image.

Currently, my system does not have hot swap capability. To clone my system, I turn off my computer; put the destination drive into a KingWin tray / rack unit; turn on the system; boot to the Acronis True Image CD; run the cloning software; turn off the computer as soon as the POST begins; remove the source drive; turn on the computer & boot to the destination drive; verify that life is good; turn off the system; remove the destination drive; place the source HDD into the system; turn on the computer; determine if life is good.

I have found these cases with the capability of hot swappability.

Can I use Western Digital SATA2 HDDs, such as these?
