wow, if that works, that is pretty cool. if there is an extant $30 off $150 coupon, you could just get the monitor for $40 after rebate too.

You can also get the Logitech MX 700 for >$20.

$165.00 Peachtree Accounting
$80.00 Logitech MX700
Total :: $245 + tax

- $165.00 Peachtree Accounting MIR
- 20% off Logitech Purchase (from December 20th)
- $50 off $200

TOTAL after REBATES :: $14.00 + tax

You get the MX700 and you get some $150 Accounting thing :)

Monitor already out of stock in some areas. Had one in my cart, then noticed the price went up $10, then it was gone.... I may try again later.

Some possible problems with this:

I don't find any printable valid $50 off $200 coupon and internet/phone orders using just the code seem to get you a CSR asking you to fax in the coupon.

I am seeing Peachtree as $189.95 online not $165. Is $165 in-store only?

Using four different addresses for the Wite Out rebates might prove problematic since they would all be using the same receipt.

Online doesn't show any rebates for the wite out stuff - maybe not up yet? Or in-store only?

Warning-Wite-Out is very, very picky on rebates. They stiffed me once for using a photocopied rebate form-when that is what Staples provided.

order now; pricematch to the circular later!!! don't be lazy :) i recommend price matching by calling up the CSR at 18003staple AFTER you get your order.

Yah, monitor shows $10 higher online for me too and a 4 day delivery delay so I just picked one up B&M, they had about a half dozen left. May pick up another one, these are not the best looking monitors but will be fine for the people I'm getting them for.

WARNING: Don't buy the Peachtree software unless you are keeping it to use yourself. Here is why quoted from a Wallet bug named gfsInc

"BE WARNED! we were told Peachtree Accounting licenses are not tansferrable so if you are planning on reselling your copy, the buyer will not be able to register the product since you have already registered it. Registration is required before the product is usable. I asked when this policy was initialed because you see literally hundreds of these for sale on eBay. The customer service rep said their policy was changed October 1, 2002. "

So you must register the product to use the software and to get the rebate but once registered it can't be transferred to another user. Some people say there is even a registration fee. Can anyone confirm the fee?

Staples.com was apparently broken about an hour ago; they reverted their prices on these rebate items to the higher, regular prices. :| It's only sensible not to allow customers to be making $50 cash free after rebates. I wish I had pushed an order through earlier though.

You probably have to go to the B&M now if you want the sales, but it'll be virtually impossible to use a $50 off $200 coupon code. On the plus side, if you do manage to use one in-store, they don't play coupon games like they are known to do with .com orders (i.e. removing the coupon discount & charging you the full invoice, or insisting on faxing in a coupon).

Speaking of B&M kiosk orders for delivery, can the checkout register override the price of individual line items?

I was lucky and had Peach Tree in my cart with the $164.xx price. But, then they changed thier prices and my cart got all screwed up. I went up to the store with the cart printed out showing $164.xx with the $50 coupon and said that your web site is messed up. They accepted the order as it was printed with the $50 off coupon code.

all 4 rebates can be sent to the same house; if i understand correctly. since they are all different products, they have different rebates.

Hmmm - you're the one who posted "use different rebate address for this order, one per household"
Sorry if I am confused by that.

i'm an idiot. it depends how you place your orders. in my post i mentioned combo 1 and combo 2 both having the same wite out products. as long as you don't order 2 identical sku numbers to the same house - you will have no problem with (identical) rebates.

sorry for the gray area ~

All the coupons I've found state that they are not vallid for any item to which instant savings have been made, which is $10 for the monitor, correct?
How do you get around this?

get the item, wait for it to get shipped to your house.
call up staples and hope you get a dumb CSR. i didn't see the instant savings fine print... :-(

it's still a steal, just $10 less of a steal! (assuming you don't get a dumb csr, they are out there...)

I thought that the coupon wouldn't be honored so it would be either $30 or $50 less of a deal, depending on the total and coupon you would try to use.
Don't get me wrong, for $40 I want in on this deal, for $70 probably not just because I don't have the $$.
