HOT !!! STAPLES HAS FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING!!! NO $50 LIMIT!!! EVEN 19c PAPER CLIPS

From 9/21/2003 to 11:59 E.T. on 12/27/2003 delivery is free on any size order, with one exception. Orders for customizable computers are charged a $75.00 fee. For more information on this charge, click here. Orders under $50.00 are charged a $7.95 shipping and handling fee.

Looks like two exceptions to me. One really big one.

I went to checkout with a <$50 order in my cart and it shows no shipping though. Maybe they just forgot to take it off their site. It would piss off a ton of people if it was true.

Just read the above post - shipping isn't really free - it's just a new term for shipping.

OK, so I believe it's real that Staples will offically start free shipping on everything now. Because it says starting from today.

It's good for those of you who don't have a Staples around.

man, if you're going to rip a post off from another forum at least rip off a good one. let me see is i got this correct. buy a box of 19 cents paper clip and pay $7.95 for shipping??? your title is misleading and downright worng

Ya, I bet they are going to change soon. Instead it should say "Orders under $50.00 are charged a $7.95 handling fee". So, in theory, its free shipping. In reality, its a more of a scheme so that you waste 15 - 30 mins picking your $15.00 worth of stuff from the web site, only find out at final checkout, you are charged $7.95 handling fee. At that point, you go, what the hay, I wasted 30 mins already. Next time, I'll know better..... I just hate it when companies resort to these types of tactics.

well, if ur a gold business rewards member, "real" free shipping for a box of of paper clips. all u have to do is spend > $1000 in a calendar year.

i've just past that mark this quarter and will be seeing my gold business reward card soon.

This page says "Free shipping on any online order through 9/27/03. All customizable computer orders are excluded.

This page still says "From 9/21/2003 to 11:59 E.T. on 12/27/2003 delivery is free on any size order, except for customizable computers."
It also still says "Orders under $50.00 are charged a $7.95 shipping and handling fee."

Sigh.
