Just got back from my local Staples and found every BIG box game in their inventory priced to move. I picked up EverQuest Trilogy and walked to the counter thinking that this was a mistake, since it was in a bin with many other titles at the end of the isle with a big 4.99 sign above. To my suprise, the guy I talked to said that he had just put this game there an hour ago and hadn't even had a chance to price it yet. Score!!! My local store had alot of titles at 4.50 to 4.99 on one side of the bin and 7.99 on the other. Happy hunting. ;)

All my local Staples stores cleared these out a while back leaving nothing but the smaller boxed games behind. But I will still check and see if they got any new big box games in recently. Thanks for the info.

Hehe, you're welcome Nasdaq. I'm not sure if the game I bought was a recent shipment or just pulled from the shelf, but a great deal considering this same game is 24.99 to 29.99 elsewhere. BTW, I failed to mention earlier that EQ Trilogy was one of the 4.50 games.

*bump* Anyone get in on this deal at their local Staples yet? I'm curious to know what other ATer's are finding.

they've been doing this since late last year. all the big box games are getting cleared out to save space using the newer small box versions. I had gotten diablo2 and the expansion big boxes for $5 each. awesome deal *if* you can find any decent games left. people have been scouring the clearance sections for big box games for months (like me!).

Picked up "Reader Rabbit: Balloon Town" for my daughter the other day for $7.99. They didn't have very many "older" games, most of the ones left were targeted for the younger audience.
