I have been holding out ever since I missed the $384 deal. At least I got in on the 8400 $499 deal. Dell finally got me! $445 shipped with tax and lame environmental fee. Damn it! Widescreen gaming goodness, here I come!

Congratulations on your purchase.

If you haven't already I would recommend checking out the video forum here on AT, it's chocked full of information. If you can even post a review/pictures, that'd be awesome 🙂

I love my 2005FPW, I just wish I had waited 🙁

I just ordered the 2005FPW.

Original Price: 749.00
Minus 35% for Dell Home Customers on he 2005FPW subtracts 262.15.
Free ground shipping subtracts 14.00
Save $60 on Electronics and Accessories orders of at least $500.

Subtotal is 426.85 and with tax, a Total of 452.46.

Not the best deal that people have gotten but still pretty good.

You know, that simply just did not pop into my head. I had thought that the $90 off of 750 was valid only if the discounted price was over $750. Oopsie.

you're not making sense. Why did you think the $60 off $500 applies ? the 35% discounted price is still less then $500 so according to your own twisted logic it should not have applied as well..... next time, do yourself a favor and at least read what other people are getting before coming up with costly theories

jjsole: Thanks for the filler options. There are quite a few nice items in there. I may even pick up a leather case for a PDA I have if it is reasonably close in size to the Axim.

user1234: Hey, don't be too hard on the guy, odds are he can get his shipment re-done if they have not already shipped out his order.

bradolson: Thanks for the heads-up. I am really digging the 2005fp for less than $400.

Thanks,
ChunkyBarf

Thanks for the heads up... i just ordered the 2005. Now all I need is a motherboard and a video card to support widescreen resolution :-/

So guys, how does Dell manage this things? Since all of our orders were done in the weekend, PRODUCTION wont start till tomorrow correct? My order status has gone through PRE-PRODUCTION allready (it has a check), that means that everything is going out smoothly? Credit Card validated and that sort of thing? I'm just hoping the order wont bounce! Shipping will be on the 19...

yeah, the order could bounce, or WW3 could start or a comet hitting the earth....a lot of things can happen which will stand in the way of you getting your monitor

There are no guarantees they won't go out of stock before your order is filled, and until it is you can cancel, but it won't get rejected. Dell makes mistakes but if is known for their inventory manangement. They probably wouldn't be putting these on sale either if they didn't have many in stock.
