You gotta be kidding, anyone who would trust that site with their money isn't too bright, not to mention they say they ship the camcorders 2-3 weeks after you place an order. uh huh

This site smells like a pricematching fraud at the very least: rajsoftware.com( a software company) selling only 1 item being that camera.
btw, agan how did you find that URL?

WARNING : Stay away from this website and person. I remember it being posted on techabargains and there were plenty of people who responded by telling their horror stories loosing their money.. You can probably search their for details.

You can pricematch Sears with online websites. However, Sears will charge you the PM website's fastest shipping (usually next day) and tax. We got our Sony DCR-PC9 (MSRP $1399) for less than $900 total at Arlington, TX Sears after PM with a online retailer.

a friend of mine got his in a retail sealed box for 480 off of ubid.... retails for 1099. and i doubt PMing to sears will work because they only do like certain sites like amazon and like walmart.com

I went to 3 Sears stores last month to try and PM with this site. I think they had the Sony PC9 mini-dv for $600 while sears was selling for $1199. None of the Sears would touch it. I would have the sales guy go get it and when he started to ring it up, I'd bust out the Rajsoftware print out. The sales dude would make a phone call, and all 3 times they said Rajsoftware.com was on the restricted list. Tried talking to managers and everything, cause they have "We'll beat the lowest price" signs all over the store, but I would never get an answer about why they would not PM or what gets a certain webiste on the restricted list.

Oh well. I guess they only match lower prices when they feel like it.

This is a no deal. To qualify for the rebate, you MUST buy a Vaio PC or notebook computer along with the camera. Since I doubt any of us are willing to do that just to get a discount on a camera, I think this is a dead deal.
