Saw this on FW:

Sony Clie PEG-NX70V for $299.88

Link

Anyone know if this is a good deal or if this is a good PDA? Lowest I can find is $339 at Newegg.

I'm surprised not more people have replied to this. This is smoking hot. Got myself one! I've never seen it on sale at a B&M store for less than $499

Glad I got in when it was $299. I hate how Amazon plays games like that with pricing though. :|

I completely agree some stuff stays on sale forever other stuff they move the price up and down multiples times a day.

i was considering if i should buy it at $319 or wait to see if it goes back to 299. Then while i was watching i refreshed and.... $369!!!!

:disgust:

Hehe, it's still $319.. you should wait a few months if you can... PALM will release the OS6, which is much better. It's rumored to even have multi-tasking!

The nx70 has some programs in terms of photosoftware loading slow and battery dying out fast.

I have never used a PDA before so i am thinking that i should just go with pocket pc (i like microsoft...)

hp 1935 for only $200 after rebate.

This sounds to me like it is a hot deal...

although i am not sure how i will protect the thing when it is in my pocket, becuase if I add a case it will become quite bulky.

edit:

Also what do people think as far as adding wi-fi or getting one with wi-fi? makes sence to use it as a streaming MP3 player or something.

I've never used Pocket PC, but from my experience by just playing with it in the stores, and using Palm OS on my old PalmPilot, is that PalmPilot is more convenient for me. I found the OS very easy to use, and the amateur programs out there really came useful in my diet/exercise routine and keeping track of my finances.

I bought the same thing without the camera about a year ago for $500...this is a smoking deal if I may say so myself.
