Hot-Smoking? Wireless 802.11b Cable/DSL Router $4.98 + Tax

From the looks of it, this is the same Belkin 802.11b router that I got from CompUSA 3 years ago, for $9.99 AR. Maybe it was just me, but my router confuses itself every three day or so - which then I have to powercycle through. The Linksys that I got free via a friend is working much better! 🙂

But, $4.98 with no rebate is nice... Maybe it can serve as a backup?

My dad has this router and has had very good luck with it.
I know becuase I never have to go over there and "fix it" for him 🙂

I think i paid the 10 bucks after rebate too.... but getting it for $5 and with no dreaded CompUSA rebates is much better!

EDIT I just checked... none available in my area.
 
5 stores in my area and all are oos. Go figure!!! Still seems to be a good deal though.

I have this router and it works super..... got it for 7.99 AR about a year ago....

Only issue I had was the access page loaded slowly on IE, but when using FireFox it worked fine... so that was an IE issue.

It is OOS in the 5 boroughs of NYC though 🙁
