I got the RS45s for $99.00 from buy.com (good price at the time).
Lousy reception and dropouts forced me to sell.
Maybe it was my 2.4 phone system... but 3 way frequency switch didn't help with the problem.

I'd go with wired!

This is a great price and a great brand which is well recognized in the pro audio community.

Got the RS 40 when it was on sale for the same amount at Xmas time. Have had no freq. problems, just stay with 25'. Expect these to have the same sound quality as an inexpensive wired headphone, but hey, your're wireless, no trippin' when going to the fridge.

I got the RS40 also for the $50. I only use them for TV, that's all I wanted them for. For $50 fairly good reception up to 3 walls and 40 feet inside, 1 wall and at least 60 feet outside.
As far as trippin' when going to the fridge, haven't done that in decades :)

If you look at all the specs and reviews of all the wireless units at
Goodcans only the Amphony Wireless Headphones come close to gaining a thumbs up, and they start at over $100.
Presently they only offer 2.4 Ghz, but they are coming out with a 5.8 soon

I've been using these for about 4 years, I have a rs4 and an rs60. One transmitter hooked up the tv and one to the pc.

The quality is pretty good, but don't expect wired studio monitors. I can walk outside our brick apartment house and take out the garbage without losing signal, but going up to the 4th floor was marginal. The 900mhz phone can mess with it too when in use. Most reviews put the sennheisers at the top of the pile. I only wish they'd made the NiMH battery bigger. they only last 3 hrs. Extras are $20.

Sennheisers CS is awesome. I stepped on the rs60's and broke the bridge piece, they sent me a new one for free, not even a shipping charge.

I have found that I prefer the analog tuning ones more than the digital, because as they lose signal they are still audible, but the digitals completely cut out rather than give any static. Another feature of the analog is you can scan for your neighbors 900mhz phone conversations!

I prefer watching tv with these, the stereo effects you'd never notice are in your face, not to mention not bothering anyone else in the room or house who'd rather not listen or is sleeping. I set up RealAudio playlists of NPR programs to stream while I work or do chores, great for things that make too much noise to hear talkradio or audiobooks from speakers.

I purchased these for my father inlaw to use on the treadmill, it works great, within like other people have said 20-25ft. The audio quality is good for the money, IMHO.

I have the RS85s, and they're pretty darn good. They work within about 300 feet of the reciever, and only have static while you move about the house. once you stop, they stabilize. Very nice headphones. Cost me an arm and a leg though.
