Go to Techbargains and get the 25 off 250 purchase.
Use the stackable 10% off, also found at Techbargains (you should have got this in your email if you are subscribed)
Samsung has their $30 rebate
And Dell has free ground shipping.

289- 25 = 264
264 - 10% = 237.60
237.60 - 30 rebate = 207.60
FREE GROUND SHIPPING

I'm looking for a new monitor but I'm not sure if this qualifies as a Hot Deal. Can anyone find better?

Thanks guys,
Robert

just use amex to pricematch amazon and u can get it for less... regardless of coupon at dell.

or just get it from amazon and send in rebate. even easier. 🙂

this is a nice deal on an excellent monitor... i paid $100 more than this like 8mos ago, so this is a great price!

<< I thought the rebate wasn't valid for eTailers? >>

the rebate is not even available at samsung's website.
there's a rebate form at BB site but can't be used for DELL purchases 🙁

I have the 955DF and i think it's ok. There's a noticeable graininess on the left and right sides of the screen where the dot pitch gets biggers. It's especially noticeable on a white background because the sides look duller. When I first saw this, I thought it was a defect so I sent it back. The replacement looks exactly the same. The display monitor at best buy also has the same problem.

<< specs???/ size??/ >>

955DF is one of the most talked about monitors. if your are not familiar with this monitor by now i dont know what to tell you.
btw its a 19" monitor. i have one sitting next to me on my other system.

man, due to igowerf's post... i don't think i want this monitor anymore.

might start looking at the KDS 19" that's goin around for ~200. the KDS can do 1280x1024 @85hz too. this samsung can only do 80hz MAX

thanks for the input guys.

dell is pretty tricky...this would be about equivalent to the 10% off Dell Home coupon...although it would be a little better depending on how much your tax is

say you bout something $250 - 25 ( = 10% off) +Tax (CA for me is 8% so you are getting an 2% discount right there but then add the 10% and you get 12% which is pretty darn good + free shipping

<< +Tax (CA for me is 8% so you are getting an 2% discount right there >>

Is there any sale tax for California resident?

Dell never charges me for that. Any comments? Thanks.

I have this monitor and think it's an excellent value as long as you don't need high resolutions--I run it at 1024x768 at 100hz.
