Hot saleswoman at gym -- a common tactic?

Most people have seen the Friends episode where the dudes have trouble dropping their gym membership because the saleswoman uses her looks to persuade them. I stopped by this gym near where I live today to look into joining. Two girls behind the counter both good looking. One is dressed sporty, but the other, really hot one, is dressed like she's working retail (not sporty at all, so kind of not fitting into the gym atmosphere).

As soon as I mention I'm interested in joining, really hot girl introduces herself and takes me aside and gives me the tour and everything. Holy freaking god, nothing hotter than a petite Asian girl with amazing cleavage!!! And a low cut shirt to show that off.

So is this a common gym tactic? It's so low. Yet... so effective.
 
See how quickly that hottie loses interest and turns into a ***** when you decide not to sign that membership contract.
 
So basically....she did her job well?

I know how you feel. You just need to really be in control of yourself. Don't be afraid to show her she has no control over you.
 
It's no secret. This is exactly why I am hired by all the retail establishments in my area... once the ladies see my dashing good looks, the sale is done. 😛

It's a common tactic for everything? What country have you been living in your entire life? Anything will spending money, hot woman will come into play.

It's not as common as you guys are making it out to be. I've never seen a hot girl sell anything (advertise maybe, but not sell). I've never seen a smokin hot woman selling cars, never bought any electronics equipment from hot women, traders/bankers are mostly men. The only thing a hot woman has ever sold me was a lapdance.
