get the DKT pad from everglide. it's bigger, black, and just as smooth 🙂

DKT are made of cloth right? no way cloth is as smooth as a fUnc pad.

Ive tried the comp pad, rat pad, everglide giganta and the c4 mousing surface.

Of all of those, I love my func pad and wouldnt use anthing else.

this probably beats my mouse pad with the periodic table of elements that I bought for 50 cents at a goodwill store.

I don't like touching other people's mousepads...the sweat and germs....

To me, this would be like buying a refurbished toothbrush.

I tend to not put my mousepad in my mouth so it isn't that big of a concern.
If you dont then your just not using it right. Get yours right now and chew on it you will understand better then 🙂

That's what the mice do!

do you wash your hands after using the bathroom?

anyway, what was my point? oh yeah, a refurbished toothbrush is a bad idea, get them from the city dump where they're a lot cheaper. 😀

i have one of these its pretty good except that the rubber base tends to warp after time, maybe from hot hands or something.

My first pad warped after a while.. but after I RMAed them, the replacement lasted perfectly until now!

My friend had the same problem. he RMS'd it and the newer one hasnt acted up in over a tear. Apparently its no longer an issue.

hmm..

does it matter what kind of mouse you have??

I've used both ball and optical mice with it. Both work great on it.

As for the warp issue, I had that happen to mine. I decided to take the plastic base off and used a double sided tape to attach the func pad to the table. It turns out I like it even more like without the base.
