Hot! RCA Center channel speaker $29.99 @ Radio shack B&M

Radio shack has these center channel speakers on clearance for $29.99 retails $174 I think. cat# 40-5011

A few stores in Atlanta had them, a few had a newer model that has yellow speakers.

whoa. This is a great center channel. I thought it was a steal @ $75 a year ago when they started clearancing them. Not sure how easy they will be to find, though.

May be very hard in deed, from the looks of it from the link. It says under "Where to Buy" NO for on-line, in store and there 800 number.

This definitely needs a YMMV

just wondering, did the clerk check the inventory on the computer or did you went to a few of the stores yourself?
If its in their inventory system, it might be easier for me just to go to a store and ask the next nearest location with one if they don't have it.

a few of the stores I went to had a tag on it that said Clearance Sale $29.99, the other stores didn't have any tags on it and I asked the clerk and they said it wasn't on sale. However there is a newer model out with yellow speaker cones, mine are black.

South Dekalb mall in Atlanta has one left but it's the floor model and the scren on the front is broken.

Did you realize that your link to the speaker takes you to Radio Shack "EGYPT"?

Now that is scary and no wonder the Middle East population has problems with America - we sent them Radio Shack! Boy I miss Allied Electronics out of Chicago (Radio Shack bought them out years ago and went national).....

Thanks. So you think this is pretty good speaker? I know the retail price can be misleading. Those guys that drive around in vans trying to sell speakers claim their $100 deal retails at $1000.
