lol.nice. Can you at least resell your old card to offset the pain from the bullet bite?
Nah, its an old Radeon 3650 card.. worthless now..probably use for mom & pop PC to watch youtube. lol
got the msi 7850 off ne... popped it in and set to 1000/1300 and runs fine...
but my kid says that the bioshock game is never going to get released, it's the new duke nukem forever... that would kind of suck... get people to buy new vid cards with games that have no value?
By the way these deals are everywhere. I had just ordered a card at superbiiz a few days before this came out so I emailed them if it was possible to get the promotion. They emailed ATI who was nice enough to give them a promo code for me. So Kudos to both superbiiz and ATI for hooking me up and making a happy customer. I had totally planned on going nVidia this time around but this and the amazing 7870 LE tahiti around the $200 mark swayed me to ATI once again.
I picked up the 7950 from the link above and it runs the Crysis 3 beta nicely at 1920x1200.
Its time to change my Gtx 580!!!
Pssst. ATI is dead. AMD. If you're thanking them, they want to be called by their actual name.
Lol, that's incorrect.
bah, i still call them ati
Canadians are getting some nice deals that include 5 free games!

This is the first time the HD7970 has hit $350 since the new promotion started.
Buy one of each and get five games!
But consider yourself warned - this card didn't get great user reviews on Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150596
For $10 more, I think the PowerColor 7970 is better.
The cooler on the XFX 7950-7970 is not great, except the new updated XFX version which vastly superior.
How is a 7950 better for $10 more?
He meant PowerColor HD7970. It's $360AR at newegg, but I'm not sold on its cooler being better.
I almost wish I would have seen that before I ordered my 7950, but that is still more than I was willing to spend.
