Anyone know if they'll give it for free if you say "End User Education"? Because, if so, I could have my dad actually fill it out more or less truthfully.

I just entered, my phone number, email, and fax. Then I clicked on End User, funding is $50K-60K. Employees is 11-20. Time to purchase, less than 90 days, wirelss lan setup, other.

After all that, I press submit and I get "You're one step closer to receiving a FREE 3Com® Wireless LAN PC Card with XJACK® antenna. A 3Com Representative will be contacting you soon to verify your information."

i didnt get a call for the gigabit and i still got it.....

rule of thumb- dont sign up twice or you wont get any, and put everything to the max(i.e. 5000+ employees, etc...)

Nice one guys! I actually work for three companies that I can mix this one up in, including my educational consulting company that they really want to here from as I will be affecting decisions of schools!🙂

I just got in! I actually have been testing different wireless setups for my corporation so I kind of qualify in that sense.....

We appreciate your interest in 3Com's new 11Mbps Wireless LAN PC Card with retractable XJACK antenna. However, you do not qualify at this time to receive a FREE card. But as our way of saying "Thank You," we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to purchase a card at our special trial price of just $79 ? that's a 47% savings off the list price of $149!

Strange...

OK, the link worked, and 3COM is supposed to verify my info.

When they call, what are they asking, and what do they need to hear?

Thanks,

RDaneel

Where'd you get one that cheap?? Since i'm only possibly getting one of these, I could use at least 2...

For $13.xx thats a good deal for a second one for me...

unclebud -- $13 for that pci adapter is a good deal, where'd you get that price?? those things sell for $50 by themselves usually...
