Hot:Possible 256mb pc133 UNDER $10 after PM and rebate!

Fred Meyer has 256mb Kbyte PC133 for $39. Go to BB and price match Fred Meyer(I think only in the NW) on top of that BB has a $30 rebate. The best way to do it is probably pay the regualr price and go back for the 110% difference cuz the are on seperate reciept!

If you get lucky its all yours for under $10!

boxta, Welcome to Anandtech. Can you tell me how this is different from your 1st post on the subject, hereless than 2 hours before you posted this?

Granted, it is a good deal, but other than to PM at Fred Meyer instead of OM, it is even the same deal as this:Here

No wonder the hot deals forum is cluttered.

We appreciate a good deal, but please try not to create duplicate posts.

But its a better deal than the OM deal, OM sells it for $44.xx and Fred Meyer sells it for $39.xx. When it comes to hot deal every $ counts! BTW how many % cheaper is the FM deal comapare to the OM deal?

First of all, I did not see my post as offensive, or even flaming. If I was, I sure wouldn't go out of my way to say please, agree that it is a good deal, or say "Welcome to Anandtech". I am not trying to get in a flaming war, nor was I trying to insult anyone. All I did was inquire as to:

A. Why boxta posted this deal twice, when he could have edited the first one, (which boxta was very forthcoming in that he did not know he could edit it, now he knows & will not make this mistake again, thank you) and

B. Why boxta couldn't have just posted a reply in the first thread, the one that has been around for days, telling us we could also PM at Fred Meyer, which btw, boxta also answered in that he felt it was deserving of it's own post.


If I was wrong, that Fred Meyer is so important that it deserves it's own thread, well then I apoligize, maybe it does deserve a new thread??

And although I saw that boxta joined AT some time ago, it was boxta who said that his other thread was his first Hot Deal post. For this reason, I genuinely meant: "Welcome to Anandtech".

BTW, as posted in the first thread, I got mine on Sundayat BB for $12.92 after MIR with PM to OM.

It is basically the same price as Fred Meyer when you get BB to give you the 110% pricematch.
