bro, that offer # does not exist...

did you call to verify, or check the web? those idiots @ rebateshq do not have all promos available on their website - especially from non-Staples stores.

bro, that's the # on the rebate coupon. I checked the # on the OD RAM offer from last week, it doesn't exist either. Like a previous poster said, some of the numbers do not appear on their site for some reason.

You all must be fortunate, as I have yet to find this card at our local Best Buy stores or online (except the CUSA site, and that was after Rebate) for anything less than $169.99. I am learning, or am starting to believe, that BB will PM CUSA sale prices ONLY if there is a COMPUSA within 50 or less miles. I saw this with the Logitech THX speakers and it was only the ones in a competitive market that had their prices at $99.99 after rebate.

I haven't tried the BB kiosk approach but every time I ask a clerk to check prices - including two mangers (cheap as$e$) - they always asked $169.99....

Uh, but it's not on sale at BB any more. How do you plan on using a 10% off coupon thats not even valid yet?

I went to the Best Buy in Tampa, FL on Saturday March 22nd. They didn't have the PNY 4200 in stock, and their registers said $169.99 was the price. However, I went to the Games Kiosk and used the BestBuy.com terminal, and the price showed up as $79.99 once I added it to my "shopping cart". It didn't show up at that price when I tried BestBuy.com at home, and I also called Best Buy's toll free phone number and they said the price to order it was $169.99.
So, if it is sold out in store (and even if it isn't, as they weren't signing the sales), you have to check the BestBuy.com terminal and add it to the cart just to see what the actual price is. You could spend all day at that terminal adding stuff to the cart just to see if you get a sale price. LOL
Incidentally, it has been 5 days since my order, and it is still listed as "in progress". My credit card hasn't been charged and the vid card doesn't show as being packed or shipped yet. I'm guessing we all cleaned out their wharehouse of these cards and we have to wait until they get more in before they can send them to us. :D
