(1) Add 2 to your cart, it should allow you to add two. Submit the order and return one of the shredders to the store when they are delivered.

(2) Call 1-800-3Staple and ask them to do the order for you, it will show in stock over the phone and do it. OR, do like me and do the Live Customer Support (chat) on their website and do the order that way. It was $10 and change after tax, representative said the rebate will be in the box. Item will be shipped within 5 business days.

THX for the excellent post. I was able to order just one online. I, too, checked to see if I could find the rebate on the site... it is definetly not there. I called customer service, they told me the rebate will be inside the box, as well. CSR said that the deal expires 12/20/03

If you need a rebate slip or something, just go to Staples.com and look for a link called "Rebate Center." It's self explanatory from there.

THX a million weepul! I thought I had copied that page but discovered that I had not when I wrote CS lat night. I didn't realize how they F'd it up either when I first jumped on this deal. See how they say $9.94 after instant and MIR, but it actually ends up being FAR?

Haven't heard back yet and I don't know what they are going to say now, but the CSR I spoke with right after I bought it, said they were absolutely going to include a MIR in the shipment.

BTW, I've never had a shredder before, but this thing works great. It's heavy and solid. Seems like a great value even if I never get the $10 back.
