So after doing a bunch of research on this tv its not worth the extra 1000 for the zt version to me and found it at abes of maine for 2129 with free shipping.Well that store is not a Panasonic authorized dealer and after doing a search on that site it shows nothing but people being unhappy and so straight up being scammed by them.

Now this tv has a msrp for like 3k and that's what best buy is selling it for so I started calling local best buys in my area to match abes of maine price, well after talking to 2 stores and getting to the manager they would not price match as there not local to my local best buy and one guy said they only will match authorized dealers.

I was a little upset but didn't stop there.I called the local best buy in NJ where there is an abes of maine store and talked to a nice kid on the phone for a while and he agreed to do the price match but I live on the boarder of NH and MA.After a few min he set it up to buy it over the phone from his store and price matched abes 2129 price and had it shipped to MA.We tried 4 cards at first as I wanted to ship it to a NH address to save on taxes as NH is zero sales tax but my cards would lock up and not go threw if the shipping address was not the same as the billing but long story short I got a brand new 60in Panasonic vt60 shipped to my home for 2267 and saved around 700-800 bucks and also have full warranty from Panasonic!

It's worth a shot if someone is in the market for pretty much the best tv you can buy right now

I can't follow the thread.

If this is not a one-time deal then................

Please post, in order, a new thread, with links to the vendors, the method in obtaining the deal.

Imma let you finish, but my 3-year old 58" Samsung plasma is the bestest TV of all time. ALL TIME. It plays every format media file I throw at it from my DLNA server, and does 1080p video. Top that, Matsushita, I mean, Panaphonic!

/Seriously dude, cut back on the purple drank. You can get a nice 60" plasma for under $1000 that should look just as good as that Panasonic and have all the SmartTV Features. $2000+ is a 2010 price for that panel.

Yes but I had to have a best buy from nj ship it to ma.

And to the guy talking about his Samsung TV you have no clue

The panasonics last years vt series and this years new zt is the best TV you can buy period.go read a review and maybe you can sell your Samsung and get a zt 60.

Panasonic bought pioneers kuru technology and used it in last years vt and this years zt plasmas and there is a reason the TV says beyond reference on it because there is nothing that can touch it at any price point.

So for 2129 you can have the best TV sold right and again this is not my opinion its the truth and has won ces back to back and smoked any panel that went up against it in the HD screen shootout.

Like I said go read a few reviews before you crap talk my thread.

Can't really say this is even remotely a Hot deal with the amount of hoops you had to go through. And i doubt anyone else will be able to get this 'deal'.

Its worth a shot for someone else and I saved around 800 bucks and got a full warranty on the display vs abes non authorized warranty.

The second abes puts the zt60 for sale I will call the same kid to get one priced matched as right now bestbuy has the zt 60 for 4500
