HOT? Panasonic Car LCD + Blaupunkt DVD = $900

Missed this deal last month but its back. At Northern Cal Fry's.

Blaupunkt Portable DVD

Panasonic Car LCD (overhead mount)

Both units = $599 + $250(installed, lifetime install warranty) + tax = $900

The lcd comes with 2 wireless headphones....okay folks, how does this sound? I'm very tempted. Looked around and found the dvd player alone retails for $300 and the lcd around $600 alone. But the dvd has only a 10sec anti-skip.

10 Sec. anti-skip on a DVD is a lot more than on a CD-PLayer, that is one huge buffer is you do the math.

Anyway, $900 to watch DVD in your car is a waste, IMHO.

Then again, I just spent $750 on an 18.1" LCD....

i'm not certain, but i think u can get car LCDs for around the 200-300 range, with a portable dvd player under 200. shop around, i'm sure you can do better.

panosonic has a built in all in one
dvd,cd,mp3,am, fm with lcd all built in to one
for 1200
plus it comes with a tv tuner
i think thats a rip off
