Here's the deal from OfficeMax:

- Palm m500 on sale for ~$145
- Add some item making it $150
- $30 off $150 coupon
- $30 Mail-in rebate on the Palm

I ordered last night, have a receipt in my MSN wallet, just waiting for the order to go through.

*Updated to show that OfficeMax isn't participating in Holiday Rewards. It's still a good deal though...

You're right. There seems to be an ongoing misconception that all sites with MSN wallet are participating in the rewards.

OfficeMax is an MSN Shopping store, and I think we found out that all MSN Shopping stores worked for the Holiday Rewards program, not just the ones listed...

The merchant can participate in the MSN wallet program without being part of the 20% MSN Dollars Promotion. I don't think Officemax purchaces are going to qualify.

Just wondering, can you provide a link to support this info? Thanks!

Hm, I don't remember which thread it was, but I thought it was decided that all the stores worked. But maybe it wasn't...

I've seen a ton of stuff on this MSN Wallet. Do you have suffer with MSN as your ISP or is this for anyone?

No this does not require that you change your ISP.

You just have to have 1 thing, a free Hotmail account, if you have that, then you're good to go.

It's not a requirement that you have a hotmail account to use the MSN wallet. I signed up with a Yahoo account.

While it is possible to use MSN Wallet at Officemax (as well as many other retailers) they are not participating in MSN dollars. The link provided above lists all participating stores (OM not being on the list).

ok, gotcha!

On another note ... no matter what I do (relaunch browser, use different browsers, reboot cpu) I cannot get the click-through $30 off $150 coupon to show up in my shopping cart, even though I have more than $150 of merchandise there.

Suggestions on what else I should/could try? I have not used the coupon.

why does it seem so hard to grasp that not all the stores are valid for MSN wallet 20% off? they even have a list on their site of the valid stores. CC is valid, and i'm sure we can manufacture some great deals there, i've been looking in my spare time, i'll let ya'll know if i come up with anything.

You have to go through the order process. The $30 will show at the very end right before you submit...

<shrugs>

I just used the click-through on ###### and ordered the m300 and the $10 telephone. At no point did the basket come up with the $30 coupon, nor did I have an opportunity to enter the coupon code. I had to call to cancel my order.

I wonder what is going on with my PC/broswer that is not permitting this to work as expected? I allow cookies and have never experienced this problem before!

I am beginning to think that I need to start taking advantage of all this deals that uses MSN dollars. Its hard to teach a old dog new trick. I better adapt fast or soon I believe that it will be extinct.

Can anyone provide a link to the Palm m500 $30 rebate? I can not seem to find it anywhere. Thanks so much, as this will make a great present even without MSN.

I still don't see the $30 rebate.

I see a $25 rebate that expired on 11/29
I see a rebate for the m125 and m515
And I see two Gift Card rebates, none of which apply to the m500.

Someone post a direct link!
