Whats the formula for figuring out RAM speeds ? Is it 0.5X FSB (or is it 2X FSB).

The FSB on a Conroe system is 1066MHz ... so whats the ideal memory speed ? 533 MHz (or 2132 MHz .. nah! really ?).

Whats the difference between the box version and the tray version.
First commom guess would be that the tray version is just the CPU packaged in some non-Intel cardboard box without the heat sink etc.

does ram speed still matter? i mean yeah you may take a hit if you get 400mhz ones, but for the 1066FSB, anything over 533 should be fine?
 
$314 now, about $338 after taxes 😛 However, pricegrabber shows I can get a retail one for $348 with no tax and free shipping. For $10 more, what can I do with the retail fan and h/s?!
