Hot or not? Two laptops.

Aldi's has a Medion laptop, while Big Lots, yes Big Lots, has a HP.

The Big Lots is a HP DV6929NR. $599

I did a search and didn't see the Big Lots thread. Need to open my eyes a little wider. LOL

Anyway, not being up to date on laptop tech, which of the two is the better deal?

The HP looks like the better pick. First off better processor then on top of that i don't think i'd want a laptop with a 16" screen and full size keyboard... just doesn't seem practical. 14" would be way more portable.

besides that i have no clue how good "aldi" is as far as quality and i have had good luck with HP in the past.

I got a Medion laptop from Aldi's during the black friday deals last november. It has held up well and I've had no issues with it, I like it.

IIRC Aldi is one of the biggest sellers of computers in Germany, and Medion is almost like their house brand.

I'm possibly stupid - or maybe 100% the real thing - but I can't seem to get the other laptop to show up as for sale

The Medion at Aldi's still shows up. Apparently Big Lots may have different laptops offered in different parts of the country. I didn't put a link because it wouldn't go to the right site. You'll have to go to Big Lots site and look for the ad.
