You get an onlive console (and controller) and Pre Order Red Faction Armageddon pre order for 50$.
They also throw in the original Red Faction Guerrilla for free.

The console alone is worth 50$. I got this same deal with Homefront and am not disappointed. Note: PLAY ONLIVE FOR FREE FIRST! Try it on your PC. It is not for everyone. You can get free trials of most of the games. Give it a shot and see if you can stand it. Some can't, some can. I personally love it and and consider this a smoking hot deal. They've only had this deal once.

That's an awesome deal for what can be a really good service of you can use it. The reviews I've seen of the console itself have been pretty good.

Its good. The playpack is nice as well. $10 a month. Evil genius on demand? cool.

i tried the pc onlive service but just don't like dealing with input lag, it's too annoying. i guess some games may be ok but for action games I can't get over it. then again I'm picky about tv input lag which is usually negligible compared to onlive.

I'm liking racing games (controller) and strategy whatever games that dont require twitch.

also I feel it looks better on a 16:9 resolution as it is displaying at that res. when you jam it into 16:10 it loses a bit of iq.

If you buy this, you have access to the game, but only as long as you pay for the service, right? how much is it if you don't buy anything else?

The console is really nice, I've played with my buddy's. Had a faster response time on my network than the Mac software client did. There's a slight delay and some rasterization/pixelization, but if you sit back at a reasonable difference it's not really any different visually and the lag feels almost like online lag when you play Counter Strike or whatever. Controller is really nice, and lightweight. Sort of like Netflix, but for games. Pretty cool!

No. You can pay for the service separate and that has separate games attached to it. You have access to the games you buy "forever"

Actually the service is free. There is a play pack you can pay 10$ a month for and you get access to 51 games with it. I subscribe to it. It is pretty awesome. And you will always have access to your game for free after you pay for it. (well, I think the guarantee is at least 3 years or something)
