They will probably point out the rebate, depending on the Store Manager or CSR, but you can always just return it I guess.

By the way OfficeMax is getting on my nerves lately: yesterday I tried picking up a HP 300e DVD burner (the thread about the deal is around somewhere). They called and left a message saying my credit card declined, when I called back they said even if they re-run my card it's out of stock anyway. I ordered from them today, same card, different DVD drive (not even close to as good of a deal) went right through. Coincidence... I think not. Right now I'm conjuring up ways to get them back for their injustices.

my card got declined cuz they put too many pending charges on my card. they charged me, cancelled it, then tried recharging me. had to wait a few days before my order could go threw after pending charges cleared.

Yes OM have alot dirty trick lately.

I think they did black list some id.

I use $50 off $250 last week 4 DVD+burner when i check out
the coupon did not apply to my order. When i call in to complain
they have so many excuse to refuse apply the coupon to my order.

Then I try to buy somethingelse with that coupon and with different ID.
It go through without any problem.
