I had to call the customer service number as the click thru coupon code did not show up... The first lady was a real b*tch and said i had to email the coupon to her... I told her the coupon had a phone/fax order code and if she couldnt take it, then she can cancel the online order and i would re-order it by phone... She just hung up! I think that if you clicked the links that he provided for the products, that might be the reason for office max adding in extra items. Just a guess, but when I searched the products and coupon codes and everything manually it added everything fine without any extra products.

For you heavier guys out there, I'd recommend that you not buy this chair. I bought a chair nearly identical to this about 7 months ago and it didn't last very long. These chairs are cheap pieces of crap.... the padding in the cushion gets noticeably mashed down after only a week. The tension controlling for the tilt got worn out, and now I can't sit in the thing without being reclined (leading to massive neck issues). The base of the back of the chair has no support other than padding, so when you sit in reclined position it gets bowed out, which leaves only a metal frame around the back of the chair to support you as you recline (leading to back soreness). It'd be worth your while imo to pay some money for a chair that will last...

John, the leather chair does have support (wood) built into the back.

The fabric chair doesn't. I own a fabric chair almost identical to the OM chair (the chair OD had on sale last week). I bought it 6 mths ago and the padding has flattened out quite a bit (I weigh 115lbs) not to mention the padding in the backrest pushing out.

The leather chair is definitely the better buy. When I tested it, it felt very firm and had quite a bit of padding. Unless you're extremely heavy, I don't think the padding in it will flatten out very quickly.

hmm, went to officemax last night with the mrs. to take a look at the chairs. didn't like the leather chair too much, as it seemed very cheaply made (especially the finish on the arm rests). minimal adjustment possibilities too. the fabric chair seemed like the nicer chair in terms of mfg. quality (not by much), but it sounds like people have been having problems with the fabric chair. that said, even a not so great chair is a pretty good deal at $25. but in the end, decided to pass it up.

I ordered and will get the chair shortly. I have heard that the leather chair lasts longer than then fabric one. One question, can I print out the email they sent me as reciept for the rebates or should I request some copies from officemax?
