Mwave has the MSI X1900XT for $419.90 - $150MIR = $269.90. This is a great deal on the best single GPU card on the market (until the x1950xt is widely available).

Will call is available for those in the area for $5.

$150 MIR along with MWAVE being in my state kills the deal for me (and kali residents). 🙁

How is MSI with rebates? Does anyone know? $150 rebate is pretty hefty penalty if one doesn't get it back.
Darned, $269 is one smoking deal!

It's a fine looking deal. Hooraaaay for NewEgg's "Bill me later"! Get the rebate in 2 months, pay $276 when the bills due 😉

froogle.com it.

I got a rebate on the MSI ti4200 I bought several years ago, and it arrived about 6 weeks after I mailed it. That's pretty fast in my book...

Big rebate, but as Derektm said, "bill me later" makes this even sweeter 🙂

Bump for hotness (literally, the xtx gets HOT!).

many of the stores listed on the rebate don't carry 1900XTX; of those that do, MW is a few dollars cheaper than NE.

Good deal, wonder how loud it is?
I just installed mine and it's not bad at all. Loud is a relative term and I have no DB meter to actually show the noise difference in my Tsunami case. After reading the reviews I was prepared for the worse and purchased a Zalman VF900-CU to go with the card. At start-up the X1900XTX's fan runs 100% but quickly throttles back. To me the difference is minimal and I probably won't be installing the Zalman unit.....at least untill the warranty expires.

so... if anyone knows, who has it in stock and is not in california?
i like mwave, but tax before rebate is a killer. (besides, i've spent way too much money with them recently anyways)

by the time the warranty expires in 3 years, the card's performance will be low-end by comparison and you'd probably buy a new card, if you haven't already done so. I would change out the HS in a few months once you know the card works without glitches.

not true. Actually game publishers are now moving away from SF due to complaints of computer problems and the flood of litigations. UbiSoft, the publisher of KK and POP: TT, has done away with SF.

This card only has a 1 year warranty. Actually I was thinkin' about swapping the HSs in about 30 days. It took me a while to get it installed and I wasn't looking forward to re-installing any time soon. BUT, it all becomes a moot point since somebody didn't make a note of the serial number to register the card.

One year warranty? MSI's web site states VGA Products are warranted for 3 year limited warranty (Two (2) years Parts & Labor, and the third Year Parts ONLY, shipping and handling fee will be required). MSI will provide one-way freight free of charge via UPS or Fed-x Ground Service when returning the product to the customer. 3rd Year Warranty Shipping and Handling fees: $45.00 per unit
Of course, as you said, once the stock heatsink comes off, the warranty is voided.
