One of the nicer phones offered by T-Mobile and manufactured by is the V600. Its being offered on Amazon for $249.99 but with a combined $250 rebate. I've seen the phone personally, I think it looks rather nice. Free after rebate with activation of a wireless plan to T-Mobile. I've called T-Mobile and its only good for new customers only :disgust:

My wife and I each have one, paid $250-300 each for them a while back (before Tmboile officially had them avail) and love them. If u buy it, make sure u go to howardforums.com, weed thru the 1000000 threads there on how to hack your phone. Thi is the friendliest phone for the geek to hack and customize.
 
those deals are old. now a days amazon will give you almost any phone that tmobile carries for just about $50 or you get cash back. pending on how new the phone is. I wish they still have a P800
 
This new customer crap is a rip off. I'm on the phone with T-mobile and told the guy they don't seem to want to keep their customers. What's to keep me from jumping back and forth from two good carriers getting a free phone each year and transferring my number (which they have to do now)?
 
NICE DEAL. Too bad I already bought mine month and a half ago. I got rid of my ATT crap contract and switched with T-Mobile.
I got in on the deal that made this phone cost me $74.95. It had the amazon rebate, but not tmobiles.
Either way, I'm happy, shame I didn't wait.

This phone is great! I simply love it!

I have a brand-new samsung E715 that Tmobile sent me to replace my damaged E715.

i would like to trade for a new v600 or work something out to exchange for a used one.

the E715 has been great, but i need a bluetooth phone since i bought a car with integrated bluetooth (Acura TL)

ps-E715's and V600 will work for Tmobile, ATT, and Cingular. they just need to be unlocked--which seems easy.

Seen dealers on eBay pushing this same deal but with $50 cash in your pocket in the end instead of just FREE... but Amazon is offering a free headset kit.

Question for the techies - was reading the V600 review and one said you can't disable the buttons on the outside on the phone, even when the phone is closed. Is this true, if so is there a hack for it?
