What do you have to send in for the rebate though? What good is a collector metal box if you have to hack it to pieces to get the UPC off of it. The last FS that I bought required that I remove the whole top of the box for the rebate.
Edit: The rebate form says either the top of the box or the title page from the instruction manual. Guess I'll be sending in the title page of the manual.

darn, deal is dead
When I got my MS Flight Sim, it came with a rebate coupon stuck to the front of the box. I pulled it off and liked what it said about proof of purchase, so I used it instead of the printable form. For a proof of purchase, all that they wanted for this form was a copy of the receipt and the little stick-on rebate form.I was able to peel the UPC sticker/label off of the tin. I placed that sticker on a piece of paper and submitted it.
