Assuming that you own a 48x or 52x drive I think it may be faster to take it out of your computer, put it in whatever other computer you would be using and then burn a cd, rather then using a 4x drive.

But just think, you could hook up a CD-RW to your PS2! (*)

(*) Not that I think that any PS2 game software supports a USB external CDRW yet as a storage device, but one could hope. It would be nice to use CDRWs as memcards. If only the PS2 supported Mt. Rainier.

Thanks! This is a great deal for older laptops or just to have some kind of external CDRW for $20. It'll be slow, but at least it'll burn.
