My store had about 20 sitting on a table. Nice thing also is the 'easy rebate' I just submiited online this morning with nothing to send in. Just got two emails saying rebate is being processed...nice!!

Hey guys,
I noticed it says Diamondmax 21 so it's a Seagate 7200.10 drive probably inside.

Yeah, they say "3.5 series 7200.10" then "Wuxi, China"

They're pretty quiet drives too. I've got 2 of them from this deal. :)

Went to my local Staples, would only ring up at $109 as per the website. Couldn't get the price checker or the cashier to come up with $90 =\

Hello

I do not post much but I got this idea for you all:

How about price matching Fry's MXT L01Y300 300GB PATA which is going for $89.99 to Staples store which is selling for 139.99 and use the $15 OFF coupon..
Is that something we can do?

Thanks

Daniel

As per the prior discussion of the box saying 3 years and the online warranty tool saying 1, this straight from Seagate CS:

"With regards to your query, we would like to inform you that, due to some technical error with our QIS database, there are certain warranty discrepancies on Seagate hard drives.

However, if you have purchased the drive independently from an authorized retailers, Seagate would honor the full warranty from your date of purchase, 1 year warranty for external drives and 3 year warranty for internal drives. We suggest you to preserve a copy of your Proof Of Purchase for future reference.

Kindly refer the model number as on the Proof Of Purchase for warranty assistance.

*Please note that the 3-year warranty is applicable ONLY to Internal drives shipped on or after September 12th, 2004.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Regards,
Shannon
Seagate Warranty Support."
