Thanks RagingBitch!!!

This deal is Ragingly Hot !!!!!!!!!

I finally picked one up.
There are none at the Duluth, Buford, Snellville, or Stone Mountain, GA stores.

$30 coupon on $100 worked.

So how are people using the 30 off 100 online coupon in store ? Altered printable coupon or ignorant cashiers ?

I picked up 2, Opened one and the case is semi transparent looks to be a reg. drive in a Ext. case. My MOBO supports USB2.0 and just moved well over 5 gig worth of Data in less than 7 mins. I dont know why you would want to use it in a Internal bay when the External USB is what makes the deal as sweet as honey but from looking at it without opening the case it will work internal, if it can be done without tearing up the ext. case and any IDE drive will work that would be cool, If someone tries it and it works with no probs please post info on how difficult it was to do.

I tried to provide the $30 off $100 coupon number when I picked mine up, but they wanted the physical coupon. Still a great deal at $97.50, but if I could locate a printable version of that coupon I would probably go pick up another one.

gil11542 - how does the external drive show-up under windows - did you look in Device Manager?

I got one at the Duluth (Atlanta, GA) store right at about 12 when they opened. None of the others had any that I could find. I also told my father about it and he got one in Allentown, PA. I didn't push my luck with the 30 dollar coupon though. QUite happy with 105 out the door.

Good couple of weeks... $150 Pioneer DVD-R at Staples, Free 50 Pack CDs at Best Buy, $35 Crucial 256MB PC2100 DDR, and now a $100 external USB2.0 Maxtor 120GB Hard drive. I am going to go broke if this keeps up.

😉

The drive plugs right in and works as a USB2.0 device on Linux. Pre-formatted vfat unfortunately, but you can reformat.

Muffstah, sorry to trouble you but could you hint at where this coupon can be obtained, I assume it is printable and not a code.

Thanks! in advance

Did you know that there is also a $20 rebate available on this drive? Go to www.rebateshq.com and search for the "Maxtor 120GB 3000LE Personal Storage USB2.0". It is good for purchased from 10-01-02 thru 12-28-02.

Agreed! Same here, went through about 4 of them here in Atlanta. I got lucky with the first one but I wanted to get one for my father so I tried 3 others. Nonetheless, he found one in PA for him so it all worked out. 😉
