HOT? Logitech wireless laser mx610 mouse -$.01 AR at CompUSA!!!!

Dang, all local stores are sold out, I wonder if they will do a pre-pay. This is one helluva deal, I would gladly junk my Microsoft mouse with a clunky transmitter coaster.

That feature on the website, to search for local stores is bogus. It says my closest is 100 miles away, but there are like 5 in San Diego. Use yahoo instead to find them.

Damn... guess it was right. Seems all the stores shut down within the last 6 months...

The online availability check is crap or the employees there are buying them all. I also tried calling the store to check, but nobody answered the phone any of the times I called. They probably just hid all of them in the back as soon as they realized the pricing mistaken and that it was going to be free.

I checked online and it was available and update 3am today. I go to the store and after asking 2 other people and getting redirected to different sections/floor, I finally find out it had been sold out since yesterday.

My store showed OOS but they sent me to the business desk, where the clerk looked up the SKU and said he had 5 on order that are supposed to arrive today or tomorrow. He's supposed to call me when they come in. We'll see. Maybe I'll get one, maybe not.

in my case, i had to go to the store twice to find it. online showed in stock, but the first time i went, it wasn't on the shelf. didn't bother asking for any help as i was in a rush. went back a second time because the website was still showing in stock, and finally found a bunch of them on the shelf. so perhaps some stores haven't reshelf them if the website shows in stock.

Just a heads up this is a great mouse! People will be able to use the indicator lights with a program called lamplighter. It should turn up in google and you can set the indicator lights for other functions if you dont care for it to notify you of new emails or instant messages. I use this or the very similar MX600 all the time. If I have to use a mouse it's one of these 2.

OMG. WTH! I just checked availability online again today for the same store and now it's limited quantities. I noticed that when I call the local store number, I will get routed to a central answering place.

Not in stock in Manhattan if anybody is wondering.

Awesome! n42.

I checked my home zip, and there are no stores within 200 miles of San Diego. I didn't realize they closed all their San Diego stores. By a happy coincidence I am on vacation at my parents house in Santa Barbara, and there is a CompUsa still open a couple of miles from their house (the Goleta store). They had about 7 or 8 on the shelf this morning. The shelf said $59.99 - $20 instant for $39.99, with no hint of a rebate. I took it up to customer service and the guy knew without checking that it was $19.99 with a $20.00 rebate. Another employee was listening and was very interested.

I came back half an hour later to buy one more and there where only 3 left. I left 2. I have no idea if they had any more in stock.

I'm not sure where y'all are getting that it's -.01 AR. Looks to me like it's $19.99 AR.

On the CompUSA website, it says the mouse is originally $59.99 but that there's an instant markdown of $20 to make the sale price $39.99. Then you can send in the extra $20 MIR to get the final price down to $19.99.

I think the OP just misread or misinterpreted what they saw on CompUSA's website.

Terabyte,

Thank you.

I see on the rebate form the condition that purchase had to be by 1 Sep 07, so this thread ought to be marked "DEAD."

Missed it!
