the MX500 mouse is on sale this week at Staples for $35 and the optimum 50 pk cdrs are FREE AR (20 - 10 IS - 10 MIR. thats a grand total of 45 at checkout and then use a 10 off 40 coupon. i had one of those 10 off 40 cards that they mailed out, but there should be some 10 off 40 coupons posted somewhere. voila you get a great mouse and an extra pack of cdrs for 25

UPDATE: chizow has indicated below that Staples BM is now selling the mouse for 29.99 making the deal now 20 AR
 
ooopss...my first hot deal post....Staples...i bought it at the BM since i had the card...but i you might be able to buy online w/ other coupons
 
very nice....might be a rebate on the mouse as well, I know Amazon has one, but its Amazon only.

You sure its MX500? The current ad displays an MX300. Also in the same ad is the Optimum 50Pk CD Free AR...

Oh NM.... Did Staples use the wrong picture for their ad? Cuz MX500 does have a regular price of $50 like it stated.
 
I just got back at Staples.. they did indeed have the MX500 for $35 out the door.

I had to return my old MX500 because it was rough on one side of the buttons.. and then I saw the new price.. Basically what I bought mine at before.

yeah they did...if you look at the weekly special online circular or the paper ad they all have the picture of the mx300, but if you just search for the mouse on the staples site its listed as 34.94.

my mx500 is great...but the top "cruise control" button is a lil too far up and the task switch button is lil too far down so i use my finger digit instead of fingertip to hit it.

installed the 9.75 mouseware from the logitech site, but i havent tried any games out yet though most ppl say the incompatibilities issues are over
 
Just to give people the heads up. Amazon.com has rebates on every Logitech MX mouse right now. MX700 for $37 total(bought 1 myself) after rebate, MX 500 for $25 after rebate, and MX 300 for probably lower(I didnt check). Works out about the same price as staples if you dont want the cd-r's.
 
Yah, I had to look 2x at the tag b/c I thought I was seeing things. $29.99 "Special Deal" sticker on it. Logitech is really making an effort to be the "King of the Stocking Stuffer" this holiday season. Amazon does have nice deals running on Logitech products b/c of the rebates, but for $5 people may prefer to just pick it up and get that instant gratification 🙂 I got the MX700 for $41 AR (before latest price drop), and I have to say its an unreal deal on the newest mouse available. I haven't seen a B&M sell it less than the $79 MSRP and Amazon is selling it for < 50% off!!!! Crazyness. I'd think about buying another one..but what am I gonna do with 2??? 😕 Its too nice for work, it'd probably get stolen.

chizow, are you sure that its 29.99? its still 34.94 at staples online and its pretty strange that they would lower the price of a sale item that same week
 
does staples do price adjustments? i also picked up the last mx500 at the store (86 & lex) so how would i confirm/check that they are now selling for 29.99 go to csr and ask her to check database/computer?
 
Yah just call the store and tell them the sku number. Then bring your receipt in and they will adjust for you.
