Wtf, the cord they sent me looks nothing like the one everyone else recieved!

The plug is still like the old one, not some AC-adapter type one that everyone else recieved. There is no circuit breaker or resetter either!

Try calling them.

Is it the wrong one or could it be my xbox version?

Screw the power cord microsoft , send a tech out to resolder the connection to my power supply!! My xbox wouldnt turn on the other day so I went to that thread stated above at xboxscene and found out my problem. It would of been nice if they would of warned people about the problem when they recognized it and started doing something about with 1.3 vers's and up . I wouldnt of unpluged the bastard so many times if I would of known.

It seems that there are a couple different version of the cords that M$ is sending out. I got the large one w/ the powerbraker in it, while a friend of mine just got a thicker version of what he currently had. Im guessing depending on the year of your xbox you will get a diffrent cable.
I did have a problem w/ mine sparking at times when i pluged mine into the wallsocket while my friend never had any issue w/ his (mine was an older model also).

Mine shipped on the 25th, and I got it today. That's surprisingly fast since they said 2-4 weeks.
