Actually, this does look like a pretty hot deal. $150 is a lot to tie up in rebates, and will increase the cost due to extra taxes. Plus, I don't know if I could bring myself to buy such a risky purchase without a service plan, which is like another $80.... actually, maybe for that price I could go without it.

I doubt the monitor performs miracules, but it looks like it might be a nice compliment to my other (quality) 17" LCD.

I wouldn't bother, LCD fails with bad pixels fairly soon if not out of the box, or its a year or more and the back light goes.
