HOT - Linksys Wireless PC card $54.98 after MIR

$129.98 LinksysWireless pc card

-$50.00 Linksys $50 MIR
-$25.00 Staples coupon for $100 purchase

----------
$54.98

I received mine today. You can use two cards instead of buying an Access Point.

That's a good price for the PCMCIA card. Remember you still need the separate PCI adapter if you're going to install it on a PC.

Thanks for posting the deal.

you could always pricematch with amazon !

math:
PM with amazon $99 + $10(cost shipping)
-$50
-$25

=$35 !?

I have never PMed at Staples, I hear they make you add the cost of next day shipping, which is bogus, i'm lucky if 1/2 the things I order at staples that say '1 day' show up in 1 week.

Thanks! I just picked up the PC card for the following:

$108.06 - Amazon PM (CS Rep applied CD shipping and tax for NJ)
-$25 off 100 code
-$50 rebate
- $7 from a Staples dividends reward check

Grand total including shipping and tax.....$24.14!!! Woo hoo!

Now just gotta find a deal on the Access Point!

<< of course this is for who already has an access point >>

You can get one of them at Staples too.
Linksys Wireless Access Point SKU457394 $250-50MIR-40Coupon=$160.

<< mchang

what does PM'ing have to do with the rebate????
that is legit.
>>

Just called the CSR and he (Doug) said that since they are offering a rebate on the product that brings it down to less than amazon.com, there is not PM to be offered.

From Staples' rules, you get:

If Staples.com offers a rebate and after the rebate Staples.com?s price beats the competition, no price guarantee will be given. You will be getting a lower final cost by shopping at Staples.com. (For example, if Staples.com?s price is $89.99 before a $30.00 rebate, so you pay $59.99 after rebate and the competitor?s price is $84.99 without a rebate, there will be no price match.)

Cheers.

I would try calling again and hopefully you get another CSR, they are known to give different answers, I guess I was lucky!

Confirmed. Just called, and PMd Amazon.

Total = 110.05
- $25 coupon
- $50 rebate
------------
35.05 shipped.

Thanks for the great deal.

Yup - I pricematched Amazon also. Total cost $35 after the rebate.

At first the rep told me her supervisor says the Amazon card is refurbished, because of this wording on the Amazon page:

Packaging: This item may be delivered in the manufacturer's original packaging, which could reveal the contents of the box.

I told her that the supervisor was wrong. After being on hold a few minutes she came back and said OK.

This is a great deal. Thanks!

🙂

Guess I'll try again :>.

I just ordered this deal yesterday from Staples, and their system said it will ship in 1 week! aargh.. Website said next day shipping..
Apparently this is a special order.

I just spoke with a rep who says I can price match this deal from outpost or buy.com for cheaper, + the $40/$25 off coupon depending on how much you purchase.

My question is.. How are you guys sure that you are getting the $50 rebate from Staples (as some of you posted above). You still have to send in the $50 rebate (either for the Wireless Access Point or the Wireless PC card) -and if they do a pricematch, there is no guarantee.

Anyone confirm this?

Not me. Took about 4 minutes came back and the deal went like this. maybe yall should attempt it this way.

129.99 staples
-25.00 coupon
----------------
104.99 + Tax 4.5% VA
109.75

Wait about 20 minutes.

call back and request PM to amazon
they are 99.95 + 5.66 s/h
129.99 (staples reg price)
-24.34 (price difference of amazon)

I didnt say anything about the 50 rebate. I dont think they know unless you ask them if you will still get the rebate. although the more knowledgable ones may know whats up.

20.90 cents credited back to CC

Final price after staples rebate

38.11 with tax.

Miles will vary im sure of it.

Treat staples with respect and they are more likely to help you. should they deny you try again. many many many cool reps on the phones there.

Who'z got the deal on the Access Point Cable/ DSL router with print server now. Im ready to roll🙂

How about if you pricematch this with Amazon as well? They have it for $199.95, so add a pencil or something:
200-50(MIR)-40(Coupon)=$110.

I've never done any sort of price matching at Staples before... But this deal just seems sooooo goood...
