Amazon.com furthur dropped the price on this cellphone w/ palm V pda to $99.99. There is a $70 Rebate on it from Sprint. So your final price is $29.99 w/ Free Shipping.

You will have to sign up for a new service though to get this deal.

It seems that this deal is super HOT!! How come nobody has replied to this thread yet??? Is there any catch to this deal?? I took a look at the rebate form and somewhere it says "not everone will qualify as prefered customer....."
Has anyone got this phone?? How's the performance?? Strong signal??

yea you should put 29.99 With New Contract in the title.

Its very misleading..

But for 70 bucks, its still a good price..

The phone is too big for my tastes though.

The phone is no bigger than a PDA so if you always care a PDA and a phone it's a great space saver. Too bad you have to sign up for new Sprint service.

Yea your right about its no bigger then a PDA, but, its based on the PalmOS....... If i am gonna carry something as big and as thick as that. I would want it to be PocketPC and with a color screen. thats just my opinion...

Will this work as a PDA without service? Might be neat to have a PDA that could also be used to 911 only if you needed it.

yup, this is hot + super hot. I am with Verizon now and this phone was $599 at the time I renew my account. Now it's also $99 at Verizon. I don't know why they drop the price on this phone so fast. How its quality and function? Any comment on this phone?

Have this phone since March.

Its fantastic as a phone, and Palm all in one. I have web access on it too, and can dial my own ISP for my regular email.

This phone is NO way a Palm V (more like a PalmIII) but 8meg , and handy none the less.

It has a great speakerphone built in, so you can lookup contacts, apps, while still talking to someone on the phone.

Im very happy with it.

The rebate at Amazon says any current customer that keeps service with Sprint for 60 days after buying the phone can get the $70 rebate. Awesome. I'm going to call Sprint just to make sure tomorrow though.

Wanderer89:

Read more carefully. Current customers must add a new line to get the rebate:(
