Was able to buy one of the Target 3765's. However, it keeps making a crackling noise when I use the stylus. The transcriber option also causes it to hang. And come to find out, I think it was a return at some point based on the packaging condition on the inside. So, now I have a great deal on a defective 3765, wonderful... I can still return it to get my money back, but then I'm out the 3765. If someone can emai me the PM'ed receipt I would greatly appreciate it. rr_67@yahoo.com I'll be checking back to see if it's posted too. Thanks in advance!

I think all 3765's make the crackling noise out of the box.. there is a fix at compaq's site

went to staples with copied target receipt in hand, but he wouldn't accept it, as it was a clearance price. He did, however, go online and pricematched to the lowest price he could find on pricewatch which was $368. What he didn't know was that this price was for a refurb product. He was a really cool guy...even through in a pack of styluses for free. So considering the $50 rebate...and the %110 price match...not bad.

Which makes a lot of sense considering that has always been a strech to get at anywhere besides a target store.

And considering the staples reciept to pricematch to is almost a month old, they can ignor it (due to date limitations on PMing).

This deal is basically dead.
