What is the best price this goes for mail order? Would anyone who lives near a microcenter store be willing to pick one up for me and ship it to me? I will pay the shipping cost + something for your time. PM or email me.

this is the slow parallel port version mind you. i year from now mobos might not be shipping with a parallel port anymore.

It is the USB version in the retail box. I was there today (MN) and they had a stack of the drives. It is the clear blue (imac) version for PC's or MACs.

this is a b&m deal. If you have one nearby and you have a car, then cool. The cheapest mailorder has it at 49.95 plus shipping and handling.

Does anyone know if Staples will PM this? It will be a really good deal if so.

Thanks,
Mark.

It's USB. It's the sleek new one, too, not the older bulky one.
Retail, not OEM or refurb. Mac "blueberry" colored.

If you want one, it's a steal.

mchurchm,

If you call their contact number on their homepage, you might order one on phone. Good Luck. :)

The flyer that I received from the Micro-Center today clearly states that it is a USB drive for $39.95. The SKU number is: 378158.

i just picked it up(cleveland location, 2 were left at 12:30) all workz great except...when i eject(manualy or electronic) the disk shoots out like 5ft(not joking) when i first ejected it, it shot out and hit my wall. its like a missle. Other than that and the shiesty looking translucent blue case, darn good deal.

Is this the same drive that was a 'freebie' at Staples with the purchase of a Digital Camera a couple of weeks ago?

If so, there's gonna be a lot of pissed off people on E-Buy.
