borrowed from SD...

Amazon has the Black and Decker FW7000 wireless camera for 29.99. This is a wireless X10 camera.

Also included is a reciever and an all in one remote control.

Note: To view on your computer you would need a video capture card..... To view online you could use a slingBox

Also, Supervisioncam is a nice peice of shareware that will monitor several webcams and allow you to view them over the net.

Actually mine is the shorter one. All you need is the first sequence of numbers. That last one could still be a potential session id or referral 🙂 I forgot the letter 'I' at the end of mine, thats why it wasn't working.

how is this a hotter deal than going through x10.com direct? do they do free ship on this

Well lets see. We can start with the fact that this is a black and decker product thats x10 compatible, rather than x10 made. I hate x10 products. They are almost soley responsible for the whole popup and banner ad revolution. They were one of the biggest offensive advertisers in terms of annoyance. Even to visit their webpage I had to disable a bunch of entries in my hosts file. And when I did, thier page is fricken annoying. Looks like one giant ad.

And from my brief visit, nothing on the actual x10 page is nearly as cheap. So why would I want to pay up the wazoo for the stuff? Sure there's more variety availible there, but I imagine you can still find the stuff from x10 homepage cheaper, google, froogle or ebay will know.

Sounds like a good deal. Picked one up for my sister, she's having a baby and the baby room is upstairs. I figure she'll get more comfort seeing the baby than trying to listen for crying. A video baby monitor runs at least 70 bucks, so sweet deal. Thanks again.
