I think they sold out, replacing the deal. In the old country they used to call that "the old banjolele trick".

Yeah, it was such a good deal they sold out in an hour. Never saw a full featured Les Paul that cheap.

Wow, that was a great deal. Noticed on Gibson's website that this guitar is available with an optional E-Tune automated tuner. When I started to learn (a bazzillion years ago) I only had a tuning fork

They aren't cheap, but you can buy one for different headstock designs these days. Cool technology, just not cheap enough yet.
