WEIRD... i orderd on he 18th, got em the 23rd...very comfortable vut after about 5 hours (i have no life) my ears were rdy to fall off..
 
Mine just arrived today. They're pretty comfortable and dont hurt my ears at all. The retractable headband is a neat feature as well. This headset does have a few things that I disliked

They have too much bass for my taste. This can be fixed with some driver tweaking but at the default setting, music sounds pretty bad. The bass seems to overpower all the other sounds.

There's a few things that bugged me about the mic as well. It doesn't sound as clear as my old $2 desktop mic. When I talk my voice sounds very bassy and muffled. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that the mic sits under my chin instead of beside my mouth. When the mic is clipped on too close to the headphones people can hear whatever I'm listening to.

Not the best headset but for $10 I'll gladly keep them for my xbox. Can't wait for the Steelsounds I ordered from buy.com as well. Maybe the mic on those will sound better.
 
Ordered mine on the 20th, they are still "in progress" and buy.com doesn't even have the order number on file.
When I sent them an email about it, they said the item was out of stock with no known restocking date.
Of course, they already charged my card for the item, and told me just to wait it out and I'll get them eventually

...mabye....

*sigh*
 
Guess I have big ears or that its that I wear glasses, but after about 30-40min with these on they are my ears are killing me
Tried them for about 2 months but couldn't handle it and gave them to the GF
 
argh does someone have the original $30 off rebate form for orders before 10/31, I forgot to get it before it was pulled!
