Note that dumpinggoods is refurb with no warranty and Mwave new with 15 day warranty. Also, dumpinggoods says:

It's the speed...USB2.0 is hell of a lot faster than parallel port.

Cheap scanners are a waste of money. Get something used on eBay for this price thats USB and is supported (good software, etc.)
