HOT - HP Proliant Microserver $180

No OS, but this seems pretty hot to me. I have setup several of these and they are great little servers, esp at this price.

Pretty good deal, but I can't imagine using it for anything more than a webserver. That processor sucks. Maybe with some more hard drive space you could run a file share or something.

There are free operating systems out there, even some made for servers, but if your a windows guy like me, home server 2011 is about $50...

Darn, missed it, I just got the newegg one last week for like 250 ? forgot.. I have 3 of these guys, running 2008 R2 64bit, I slap a hp p410 controller on it, have a few as file servers with raid 6. Runs more than a web server. This baby runs esx or esxi also. Supports 8gigs of memory, enough for esx lab.

My next project is to get the 4-in-1 2.5 drive caddy in the 5.25 drive space. Easy 4tb on top of the 8tb I get off the 4 3.5 drives.
