Not really. Personally I will NEVER use anything lighter than 24 lb....its just too think for me plus things dont look as good on 20 lb paper, especially one that has 87 brightness.

i've still got 15/20 reams of 20lb 87 bright paper from the staples deal way back when. in relflection, i think i should've bought 10 reams at twice of the cost for some nicer paper. i don't think it really matters for high school or college papers, but when it comes to business, it doesn't look very professional.

well at 34.98 for 2 boxes with each boxes having 10 reams of paper, it comes out to 1.749 per 500 page ream.
Frys in Bay area has reams of paper for $0.99 a ream on sale

So its only warm deal

This paper should be good enough for faxes and laser printers, but probably will bleed through if you use it in inkjet color printers. You can get better quality paper at either Costco or Sam's club if you don't mind buying in bulk.

Not to crap, but I agree completely... for "general office" use this is fine i suppose. meaning for drafts and stuff that will find it's way into the recycle bin sooner or later... i personally go for 24lb+ and 90+ brightness. call me a snob, but it looks better, and the difference is noticable. this is a great deal nonetheless if this is the kind of paper you're looking for. :)
