Yeah. I'm confused too. In either case, it's still a good deal. If it's a gift check I could always use it for toner, paper, or on some future Hot Deal. Staples always seems to be having them.

just a note, amazon is selling this printer as well for $199 - $50 instant savings, for $149.

After 3 days of coupon hunting, I give up. $149 and $20 GC is good enough so I ordered one tonight. My Epson Color 900 just went out of ink, don't want to spend another $50 on this old printer. Bought the Epson for $400 5 years ago, today I can get a laser for $149...........
 
damn back button... double post ;p

this will be replacing my lexmark e210.. fuser died on that before i even finished the first toner cartridge. it's out of warrantly & they won't do anything for me besides give me a part number for a $150 fuser.

so hopefully this hp will do better for me
 
its a great printer and prints super fast. That lexmark laser is really pitiful compared to this one.

I gave up too, and just bought one yesterday. Apparently delivered home today....I didn't want to replace the $120 cartridge in my noisy and squeaky (and getting noiser) NEC 870.

Well... I found a coupon over at FW. It was posted yesterday.

HOWEVER... it won't work with this deal. Oh well... I went ahead and got one too.
