got my 4 sticks, they are pretty decent at 1.8v clocked it to about DDR770, 5-5-5-15 and humming along nicely passed about 1hr of memtest86. now burning with ortho blend for a few hours. Not bad for under $15 bucks/4gb. Micron D9NHL revE.

That does suk, but lets admit............how many deals (this HOTT) last this long???

See everybody in Feburary (I HOPE!!!!).

BTW: Thanks HP 🙂

purchased 4 sticks and installed them in my PC - which was running 2GB of PC2-4200.

restarted PC and new memory registered.

ran Windows Experience Index and memory went from 5.5 to 5.1

does this seem right? shouldn't it have gone up?

CPU-Z says that mine run at 380MHz (DDR760?) with 5-5-5-15-21, Command Rate 2T. 1.8V stock voltage.

Made week 2/2008, got to me week 4!

what cpu/mobo? if amd 4 sticks may put u down to 2t, which hurts perf... my cheapo boards are faster @333 than 400 becaues they will run 1t @333... amd likes tight timings...

$3 sticks of Gig make people put 4gb in their system. Is it better than 2gb??......I've never seen a test that shows a real gain.

cubeless raises a good point

Word of warning to those who are still ordering (though that might not be many now that the price is up):

I ordered 4 from ANT, only 2 showed up. I've called them twice now, the first time they said they'd call me back (which never happened), the second time they said they needed to do a "more thorough investigation." I'm a little confused as to why they're not just shipping two more, I'm hoping they discover their error & don't force me to dispute the charge.

Whoa, that sucks! I had that happen with Outpost.com just over a year ago and I couldn't even reach anyone on the phone, so I disputed the charge. Apparently they didn't reply to my CC so I got the money back, and then they started taking me to collections. Finally a few months later I was able to reach a live body and got the mess cleared up.

I had 2 sticks running fine @ DDR800 @ 1.8v in my IP35-E. 🙂

Hey how high have you clocked these things? I tried DDR900 won't go, so figure probably just stay around 800ish to be safe.

Another interesting tibit is that this hp memory used about 20W more energy at ortho blend than my 4 sticks of XMS2 before this. :[ Used to run ortho blend at 85W now it's 110W with only the change on the memory.

I didn't go over 800...cpu was gettin' a little too warm to suit me.
Ran memtest & prime95 overnight w/no errors.
I tried doing it @ 4-4-4-12 & bumping the voltage up to 1.9v, but it pretty much told me to f**k off...hehehe.

yeah that thing don't listen to voltages much. I think good enough to leave it on 1.8v, I tried DDR900 in a test, won't even post even at 5-5-5-15. I guess can't complaint on the $3/stick RAM that advertises on DDR667 but can do DDR800. well, probably go DDR3 next year that's going to be fun to play with.
