I think CrapUsa has a no name brand 3.3 megapixel digital camera on sale until july 7th for $169.99 AFTER a $30 MIR. I don't know jack about the camera, but they also give you a free 64MB compact flash card with that purchase. Probably not a bad buy for the price. Quick rule of thumb, often times digi cams go for about a $100 a megapixel. Also may turn out to be a P.O.S. OR a decent camera if it's a decent rebagde. For those in need, might be worth checking out. Then of course there may be a possibility of a pricematch to make it even hotter.link.

Sixpix is the brand, I don't think it's a rebadge, it's 3.3mp but no zoom.

Cool. Thanks for the link. Ya, probably not the greatest camera, but for $169 I'd try it out. It actually will do a couple neat tricks, but not sure of the quality. It says: " with an optional CompactFlash card the SC-3300 allows you to record digital movies up to 45 minutes in length." As well as :"Use the 3X digital zoom to easily zoom in on your subject. Or use the macro mode to capture the fine detail of items close-up. Auto focus lens, the SC-3300 has manual adjustable exposure, white balance and special effect modes. The continuous shot feature allows you to rapidly capture four continuous pictures in a row.

Buydig lists the Dimage Xt (with return ship and handling) for $340.00. Not too shabby a price, and I'm tempted to go with this since the Dell deal has died (try saying THAT three times fast). Anyone have any experience with Buydig? Reseller ratings has a fairly decent rating for em...

Canon S230 is 2 megapixel 2x zoom if i'm not mistaken, this is 3.2mp w/ 3x zoom and I got in on this deal... Casio Exilim EX-Z3 was going for the same price also

the s230 IS a 3.2 MP camera.

I got my Canon A70 for 271$ @ onecall.com. I like 3x zoom (this is minimum zoom you should have - 2x zoom is not enough). Very rarely I wished I had 4x zoom (I am talking about optical zoom not digital which is useless - you can do it on computer too with most likely better results - using bicubic algorithm in Photoshop or whatever software). So Minolta looks nice - don't know how it compares to A70, which is very hot camera (it does not suprise me at all). Camera without optical zoom is USELESS and it is a complete waste of money. Period. AA batteries are handy (got NiMH Duracell for 0.79$ a piece so I don't worry about juice). Get 256MB CF card too - 16MB is a torture (I don't even use 16MB, which came with my camera - I might sell it though).

that was my fault, i have the s300, not the s230, and i got the s300 slightly used for $270
