Freekylink,

I did my first Staples PM Monday. I just ordered online with the coupon, and then used the PM form on their page to send a link to the lower priced item at the Onvia site. They issued me a credit the next day for the difference. I think you have to make sure the final price after the PM is still above the coupon requirement.

hi, djk & Puppyc73

do u know how to get the rebate?
I found from the rebate form that Fuji requires Original Coupon, what's this?
and which of the following ones are SN/UPC:
74101xxxxx: sn?

Original coupon can be printed out from www.amazon.com .. look under digital camera, then go to the fuji 1400 and theres a link to the printout.. since this is internet order, its impractical to get the original rebate form, im sure fuji will accept a printout.. as for serial #, i found mines on the very right side of the box.. not the one in the UPC, but its a sticker.. im not sure if its the serial #, but i dont think they would print a s_itload of boxes with different serial #'s on the UPC.. so im assuming its the sticker.. summary..
1. the rebate form
2. the cutout of the UPC
3. the photocopy of the receipt
4. the registration card

good luck

Thanks. I got in on this deal also. Took 4 calls before I could get a "good" pricematch though. Well worth the time, and most of the CSR's were cool about it. Should arrive on Monday. Great deal, and thanks again!

Mine's coming tomorrow. My total was like 244 (pricematched technetamerica at 267, then the $40 coupon +tax)- the $50 rebate = $194. I ordered it at almost midnight EST. That seems to be a good time to get the 'green' CSR's. Went through without a hitch. I was giggling like a 12 year old girl at a Britney Spears concert as I was reading her my coupon code....

great deal. Bye-bye Polaroid PDC 1100.

Are you supposed to get some sort of an email confirmation after you place your order over the phone, because I didn't... btw, who delivers these items? An actual Staples truck or is it UPS or something?

Nope if you place an order over the phone an email confirmation will not be sent, if you want to check the status your going to have to call them up and give them your order number, in regards to shipping, mine arrived via UPS

I just priced matched over the phone with Connie. Delivered to California $244.59 tax included. She used Technet America's $267 and I told her they charged $10 for shipping. she phoned them while I was on hold with her and stated my price was $267 lee the $40 coupon plus tax. Pretty cool, less than $200 after rebate. Thanks OP.

Question - Does the PM at Staples have to be over the phone? Also do they count the price of the competitor as price + shipping? Or is it just the price and they figure out their own shipping rates? Thanks. Also someone mentioned an online PM form, why not use this one instead?

Sygyzy: I like to do it over the phone. They were supposed to add the cost of shipping, but she did not, even though I was honest and told her shipping was $10, so to me, it was an even hotter deal than I had anticipated by $10. If you try to PM online, it is hit or miss, as I tried with the Plextor and no cigar.

Anybody know of a good "form-fitting" case for this camera? I'm not looking for a bulky case with pockets... I'm looking for a tight fit, small case... "form-fitting" I guess you would say. I've found a "LARGE PADDED CASE FOR FINEPIX 1400" but frankly, that doesn't sound what I'm looking for. Anybody have ideas?

Re: Camera case. I'm looking at one at FleaBay - one bid of $4.99. Sez it fits these cameras: FUJI DX-10, MX-500, MX-700, MX-1200, MX-1700, MX-2700, MX-4700

Just got off the phone with CSR. Pricematched with shop4digital where the price is $248. Also added 16mb memory card which is right on the staples webpage along with a coupon to make the card free. Then I added a coupon code to take off $40 and free shipping. After taking off the $50 rebate, total cost will be $180.57. Pretty nice deal.

"how did you get them not to notice that shop4digital's price is really $298 and not $248?"

Dukota - have the same question, clearly states $248 after rebate? please tell

When she asked how I found the item on the shop4digital webpage, I told her I just did a search for the fuji cameras and when the list came up it was the 5th item down listed at $248. She never clicked on it to load that page. She never saw the price listed as $298-$50=$248. Guess I just got lucky.
